Basic Sausage Egg Casserole

Ingredients

1 1/2 lbs. of sausage or bacon
9 eggs, slightly beaten
3 cups of whole milk
1 1/2 tsp. of dry mustard
1 tsp. of salt
3 slices of white bread, cubed into small pieces
1 1/2 cups of grated cheese

Tip! Recipe can be modified to add green peppers, onions, tomatoes, and various cheeses.

Directions

  1. Brown sausage and drain

  2. Mix eggs, milk, mustard, and salt

  3. Stir in bread, sausage, and cheese

  4. Pour into greased 9x13 glass baking dish

  5. Cover and refrigerate overnight

  6. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 1 hour
