Grandma Kjeldgaard's Pumpkin Pie

Ingredients

2 cups of sugar
3 cans of pumpkin
2 cans of evaporated milk
4 eggs
3 tsp. of cinnamon
1 tsp. of salt
1 tsp. of nutmeg
1 tsp. of ginger
1 tsp. of allspice
1 tsp. of cloves

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees

  2. Mix all ingredients until smooth

  3. Fill two unbaked pie shells

  4. Bake for 15 minutes, then reduce heat to 350 degrees

  5. Bake additional 35 minutes or until knife comes out clean
