Oriental Salad

Ingredients for salad

2 packages of Ramen noodles (discard seasoning)
1 oz. jar of sesame seeds
2.25 oz. bag of almonds, slivered or sliced
16 oz. bag of coleslaw
8 oz. bag of chopped red cabbage
8 scallions, chopped (green part only)
1 green pepper, chopped

ingredients for dressing

1 1/2 cups of salad oil
10-12 tbsp. of rice vinegar
1 tsp. each of salt and pepper
2 tbsp. of sugar

Directions

  1. Toast seeds and almonds together

  2. Mix with broken up Ramen noodles and set aside

  3. Mix dressing together until blended

  4. Right before serving, add dry ingredients and dressing to veggies and toss
