Sherry's Chicken and Wine Casserole

Ingredients

4-6 boneless chicken breasts
1 can of cream of mushroom soup
1 small can of sliced mushrooms, with juice
1/3 cup of white wine
1/2 pt. of sour cream

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees

  2. Flour chicken and add salt and pepper if desired

  3. Brown the floured chicken and then place in casserole dish

  4. In saucepan, combine soup, mushrooms with the juice, sour cream, and wine

  5. Heat and pour over chicken

  6. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes, covered

  7. Uncover and bake an additional 15-30 minutes

I serve rice with the chicken and double the sauce to spoon over the rice.
