Chocolate "Puppy Chow"

Please do not feed this to your pets!!! One quick look at the ingredients and you can see this is people food.

 

Ingredients

1/4 cup of margarine
1/2 cup of chocolate chips
1/4 cup of peanut butter
2 1/2 cups of Crispix Cereal (10 oz. box)
1/2 cup of powdered sugar

Directions

  1. Melt together in a 5 qt. pan the margarine, chocolate chips, and peanut butter

  2. Add Crispix cereal to the melted ingredients in the pan

  3. Stir until cereal is coated with the chocolate mixture

  4. Put the powdered sugar into a plastic bag and spoon large helpings of the coated cereal in

  5. Break apart the chunks into smaller pieces and shake to coat each piece with powdered sugar

  6. Remove powdered sugared pieces onto a cookie sheet to cool

  7. Continue coating the cereal until all pieces are covered in powdered sugar

  8. Serve in a (people) bowl
