Aunt Dorothy's Pecan Pie

Ingredients

1 cup of light corn syrup
1 cup of dark brown sugar
1/3 tsp. of salt
1/6 cup of melted butter
1 tsp. of vanilla extract
3 whole eggs slightly beaten
2 cups of shelled pecan halves

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees

  2. Mix first 5 ingredients well

  3. Add eggs, just lightly beaten

  4. Pour into pie shell and sprinkle on pecans

  5. Bake for 45 minutes
