Joanne's Lemony Lamb Meatballs

Ingredients

3 lbs. of ground meat or ground lamb
Salt and pepper to taste
3-4 slices of bread
Zest from 2 lemons
Chicken broth
1 cup of water
6 tbsp. of flour

Directions

  1. Mix ingredients to form meatballs and pan fry

  2. Remove grease from pan and meatballs

  3. Add 3 cups of chicken broth

  4. Mix water and flour

  5. Bring chicken broth to boil in pan and slowly add the flour mixture to form gravy

  6. Add juice of lemons

  7. Add meatballs to gravy, cover and simmer, and serve over cooked rice
