Hummus

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups of canned chickpeas
3 or more cloves of garlic, minced
1 1/2 tsp. of salt
Dash of tamari
Juice from 2 medium lemons
3/4 cup of tahini
1/4 cup of finely minced parsley
Lots of black pepper
Dash of cayenne
1/4 cup of finely minced scallions

Directions

  1. Mash chickpeas to a thick paste

  2. Combine everything together

  3. Chill thoroughly and serve
