Loretta Taylor Egg Soufflé

This is great for brunch and should be made the night before.

 

Ingredients

12 slices white bread buttered
1 lb. of sharp grated cheddar cheese
9 eggs
2 tsp of salt
4 cup of milk
2 tsp. of poupon mustard
Optional: sausage or bacon

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees

  2. Combine milk, eggs, mustard, cheese, and salt

  3. Line 9x13 baking dish with buttered bread (6 on bottom and 6 on top)

  4. Cover with milk, eggs, and cheese

  5. Bake for 45 minutes until nice and puffy
