Easy Eggnog Créme Brulee

Ingredients

1 qt. prepared refrigerated eggnog
4 eggs
1/4 cup of brown sugar

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees

  2. Combine eggnog with the eggs

  3. Pour into 8 small ramekins and arrange in a baking dish with water around them

  4. Place in the oven and bake for 35 minutes or until a knife comes out clean

  5. Remove from oven and from baking dish

  6. Cover ramekins with plastic wrap and refrigerate until well-chilled, about 2 hours

  7. Heat broiler to highest heat

  8. Arrange chilled ramekins on a baking sheet and sprinkle with an even, thin layer of brown sugar (or melt with kitchen blowtorch)

  9. Broil 5 inches from heat about 2-3 minutes or until sugar melts

  10. Remove from oven and allow to cool slightly before serving
