Cilantro-Garlic Sirloin

Ingredients

1 cup of fresh cilantro
2 garlic cloves
2 tbsp. of fresh lime juice
1 tbsp. of grated lime rind
1/2 tsp. of salt
1/2 tsp. of ground cumin
1/4-1/2 tsp. of ground pepper
2 lbs. of top sirloin steak
Zesty corn salsa

Directions

  1. Process first seven ingredients in a food processor or blender until blended, and rub cilantro mixture over sirloin steak

  2. Chill for two hours

  3. Grill, covered with grill lid, over medium-high heat for 10-20 minutes on each side or to desired degree

  4. Let stand for 10 minutes

  5. Cut steak, diagonally across the grain into thin strips

  6. Serve with zesty corn salsa

Salsa:

  1. Grill corn, covered with grill lid, over medium-high heat for 10 minutes on each side and cool

  2. Cut corn off cob into bowl, stir in fresh lime juice, olive oil, grated lime rind, minced jalapeno, salt, and cumin
