Cheryl Hieber's Pound Cake

Ingredients

2 cups of softened butter
3 cups of sugar
6 eggs
4 cups of flour
3/4 cup of milk
1 tsp. of almond extract
1 tsp. of vanilla extract

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees

  2. Cream butter and gradually add sugar

  3. Add eggs one at a time, beat well after each egg

  4. Add flour alternatively with milk, beginning and ending with flour

  5. Mix until just blended after each addition

  6. Stir in extracts

  7. Bake for 1 hour 40 minutes
